In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures (i.e. a large difference between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.

HDRI was originally developed for use with purely computer-generated images. Later, methods were developed to produce a HDR image from a set of photos taken with a range of exposures. With the rising popularity of digital cameras and easy to use desktop software, the term "HDR" is now popularly used[1] to refer to the process of tone mapping together bracketed exposures of normal digital images, giving the end result a high, often exaggerated dynamic range; however, in this case neither the input nor the output qualify as "true" HDRI.

Fleetwood
The town was founded in 1836 by Peter Hesketh Fleetwood, and largely designed by Decimus Burton. It thrived as a seaport and a fishing port, and has more recently been known as a seaside resort.
The fishing industry was largely destroyed in the late 1960s by the Cod Wars—a dispute over fishing rights between Iceland and the United Kingdom. As Fleetwood's trawlers mainly fished the North Atlanticin search of cod, the loss of the fishing grounds hit the town hard.The last deep sea trawler left the town in 1982 and now only inshorefishing boats fish out of the port, although trawlers registered inother places can still be seen taking advantage of the fish market.Fish is still a big industry in the town, though the jobs are mainly inprocessing rather than fishing. A pair of bronze figures on the Promenade by the pier reflect the idea of families waving off the fishermen to sea.
Fleetwood is also famous for being the home of Fisherman's Friend—a menthol lozenge which is hugely popular in Japan.
Attractions in the town include The Mount pavilion and clock, Fleetwood Pier and the Pharos and Lower Lighthouses. More recently the shopping arcade of Freeport has attracted many visitors. Fleetwood is also home to a museum and lies at the northern end of Blackpool's tramway.

The Magic Hour

In photography, the golden hour (also known as magic hour) is the first and last hour of sun during the day when a specific photographic effect is achieved with the quality of the light during these hours.
Typically, lighting will be softer (more diffuse) and warm in hue,and shadows will be quite pronounced as a result of the sun being soclose to parallel with the horizon. This is because the sun light is traveling further through the atmosphere and coming from a less harsh side angle, instead of straight down. The golden hour is a mild version of alpenglow, as described by Galen Rowell.
During the golden hour, highlights are less likely to be overexposed, because the direct light of the sun is less intense compared to the diffuse light of the sky. In landscape photography, the warm color of the low sun is considered desirable to enhance the colours of the scene.
In the middle of the day, the bright overhead sun can create too-bright highlights and long, dark shadows. The degree to which overexposure will occur will vary as different types of film and digital cameras have varying dynamic ranges. This harsh lighting problem is particularly important in portrait photography, where a fill flash is often necessary to balance lighting across the subject's face orbody, filling in strong shadows that are considered undesirable. However, during the golden hour, such shadows are less pronounced.

For over 70 years, from the height of the Victorian era onwards, a busy railway linked Hooton, on the main Chester-to-Birkenhead line, toWest Kirby, 12 miles away at Wirral's tip. But in 1962 the line was closed.
For a while the track lay derelict. But in 1973, backed by money from the Countryside Commission, and after a great deal of work, the old railway line was opened as Wirral Country Park. It was the first Country Park in Britain.
